WWE NXT garners it’s highest viewership since January’21 for the Spring Breakin’ special

WWE NXT aired on an special themed episode for this week which was termed as NXT: Spring Breakin’. The show had some big matches announced in advance including Bron Breakker defending his NXT championship against Joey Gacy plus this week’s show also witnessed the NXT 2.0 debut of Nathan Frazer against Grayson Waller. Since WWE loaded up this week’s show, how much viewers actually got actually attracted towards it?

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, NXT’s Spring Breakin’ special on USA Network drew an average of 6,61,000 viewers with a 0.13 rating in the key 18-49 demographic (P18-49) which represented 173,000 viewers of the total audience. These numbers brought a lot of good news for NXT as it is their highest viewership since January of this year in terms of total audience. NXT ranked #33 among the cable originals in P18-49 and #33 when including whole English broadcast primetime.

NXT ranked #33 among cable originals in P18-49, according to Showbuzz Daily, and #46 when including English language broadcast primetime. NBA and NHL took the top 4 spots among cable originals.

NXT Spring Breakin’ results

WWE NXT aired a Spring Breakin’ special this week.

The week’s NXT Spring Breakin’ special themed show was built around the NXT Championship main-event match between Bron Breakker and Joey Gacy who was physically threatening Bron over the last few weeks. He insisted that he will be crowned as new NXT Champion as Breakker will not be medically fit to compete after the beating he had unleashed upon him in recent weeks.

Another highlight was the NXT debut of Nathan Frazer who was interrupted by Grayson Waller last week on NXT, Frazer took out Waller off the ring. After that, a match between the two was set for this week’s special episode.
