‘Wrong determination’: Reactions as Chef Dammy completes 120-hour cook-a-thon
Controversial Nigerian Chef, Damilola Adeparusi aka Chef Dammy who began her 120-hour cooking challenge immediately after Hilda Baci completed her own 100-hour cooking challenge, has finally completed her challenge.
Chef Dammy’s 120-hour cooking challenge received mixed reactions, with many criticizing her for seemingly attempting to overshadow Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record attempt. However, during her challenge, she received recognition from Professor AS Fasina, the vice-chancellor of Federal University Oye Ekiti.

Despite this recognition, there was a prevailing belief among some that Chef Dammy’s timing was inappropriate. Critics argued that she should have waited for Hilda to hold the record for at least a year before attempting to break it. Furthermore, there were criticisms directed at Spirit Word Global Mission church, as it was believed to be the organizing force behind Chef Dammy’s cook-a-thon.
Some people specifically condemned Pastor Jeremiah Adegoke for allegedly misleading Chef Dammy in her pursuit of the cooking challenge.
