Why Jessica Biel Is One of the Coolest Celebrities You'll Ever Meet

At this point, there aren't many celebs left in Hollywood I haven't interviewed or at least seen up-close. And truthfully, many of them look quite "normal" in person. By normal, I mean that they're absolutely beautiful, but you're not knocked out after being blinded by their star-wattage. They're just people. (Well, except for Charlize Theron and Halle Berry—they're goddesses when you see them in person.) You can add another name to that list because spend five minutes with Jessica Biel and you're overcome by not only how stunning she is but also how her personality and kindness can actually make you happier just by being in her presence.

Jessica posed in front of Tiffany & Co.'s new Atlas collection, the company's first line designed by Francesca Amfitheatrof. "You can wear it with a T-shirt or a gown. It's diverse, it's sophisticated, and it's simple," said Biel.

So here are five reasons why we love her—and you will too!

1) She's environmentally conscious. At last night's Tiffany & Co. celebration for the new Atlas collection, Biel explained how hands-on she is in her new role as Tiffany & Co. Ambassador: "Their CEO, Mike Kowalski, took me to Alaska. There we learned about a gold and silver metal mine that a big company wanted to create that would disrupt all the salmon runs and stop the local fishermen. It would have been a disaster environmentally. Tiffany's will only get their stones, metals, and gems at safely sourced places. If they can't get a safe sapphire one year, then there won't be sapphires. They really take that seriously, so I basically just stalked them and said, "I need to be a part of this company!" They really think about the greater good of [the environment] and the world."

2) She's as down to earth as they come. Case in point, as soon as she heard my name was also Jessica, she gasped like we were BFFs. "That's so cool!" When we were finishing up our interview, I asked if we could take a photo for Instagram (see above), and she wanted to know if she should take a selfie for us or if it was easier for me to take one of her. Then, as soon as we snapped the photo, she told me about this song called "#SELFIE" by the Chainsmokers and started reenacting it in front of a gorgeous display of jewelry. You had to be there, but it was so funny. This is a girl who could make even doing the laundry seem fun.
