Prem Prasad Acharya suicide
This incident took place right in front of the Federal Parliament building of Nepal in Kathmandu, at the time when the Prime Minister was passing by. It was just another act of “self-immolation”. It was a symbolic protest as it was an expression of frustration. As many people believe, it was a clear indication that the state is failing.
The death of Prem Prasad Acharya, who was a young entrepreneur has shaken the Nepali consciousness to the core. He hailed from Ilam, a district in eastern Nepal. His death as given rise to the debate about the failure of the state to offer the environment of doing business to aspiring Nepali youths and then exposing the ills of the government system and modus operandi of private sector business.

Prem Acharya died of some burn injuries in the city of Kathmandu on Wednesday morning following his failed attempt of self-immolating in front of the parliament by badly sprinkling petrol on his body and then setting himself on high fire flames.
Prem Prasad Acharya death reason and his career
Nepal Live Today stated the content of his note in the following paragraphs. As per sources, Acharya began his career by working in Thamel based Travel Agency in early 2010. Then he sold his house in Ilam and began his own agency of tours and travels. While his DOB isn’t known, he was aged between 30-40 years.
Soon his business collapsed and he sold the travel company and left for Qatar for employment. With whatever Acharya earned in Qatar, he returned to Nepal in late 2017 and began an enterprise of own which he named Suryodaya Agro Industries and Farm House Pvt Ltd in Ilam. He further supplied his products to department stores and marts.
