When is ACNH Cherry Blossom Season 2021?

Animal Crossing: New Horizons does something that hasn’t been seen in the series up until now: it differentiates seasons based on what hemisphere you’re in. As seasons in the North Hemisphere and South Hemisphere are flipped, this guide might not be entirely accurate for you depending on where you’re from (or at least, where your Switch thinks you are.) For those in the North Hemisphere, however, the cherry blossom season 2021 starts on April 1 and runs until April 10. For gamers in the Southern Hemisphere, the season goes from October 1 through October 10.

What is ACNH Cherry Blossom Season 2021?

Cherry blossom season is a time of year when all the trees turn pink, purple, and red as the cherry blossoms bloom. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, exclusive cherry blossom DIY recipes can be found that all require blossom petals. To find and get blossom petals, all you need to do is run around your island until you see one floating in the wind—it should look like a pink/red/purple leaf. Grab your net, snag the petal, and BOOM! you’ve got yourself a blossom petal.

Which Trees Bloom in Chery Blossom Season?

If you’re planning on rearranging some trees for a beautiful orchard once the leaves start changing color, make sure you’re grabbing the correct ones. In ACNH, only hardwood trees change from green to pink.
