What Has Been the Highlight of Your Summer?

Yesterday, while I was grabbing lunch from a local cafe, it suddenly hit me: summer is almost over. The restaurant, which is just down the street from a university, was packed with college students. Nearly every customer seemed to have the back-to-school jitters and chatted about class schedules and books.

Summer is my favorite season and while those long summer breaks between semesters are a thing of the past, I can't help but feel nostalgic about those especially warm months. I've had a number of wonderful experiences this summer, but I think my favorite has to be the trip my pals and I took to the fair a few weeks back.

We acted like kids and squealed as we went on rides.
