What Are The Red and Blue Lines On The Fortnite Map?
The IO and The Seven are officially at war as both attempt to take control of the island in what Epic Games state is “the final battle to free the zero point”.
Alongside the inclusion of new gameplay mechanics, weapons, armored battle buses, and more, the Fortnite map has been split into territories.
The red and blue sections of the map indicate which territories are owned by which faction. For example, the large red area in the middle of the island is owned by the IO, whilst the blue sections are owned The Seven, otherwise known as The Resistance.
According to various leakers such as HYPEX, the territories will change as the season progresses, with the resistance pushing the IO back more and moreover the coming weeks and months.
Of course, we recommend you tread cautiously when you enter into the IO areas, as you will likely be attacked by their onsight forces.
