Welcome to Jeffrey's Trackside Diner for September, 2019 in Spain - Model Railroader Magazine

Hey guys, posting late but at least I'm here.

Vaping fries the brain, heres my proof, my now ex friend Sydney started vaping without nicotine over the summer and now shes a full blown nutcase, more on that in a moment.

So finally had some friends my age, that was nice while it lasted, so Saturday we were going to hang out at the mall and go to main event (knock off Dave and busters) we were to meet at 430, they dont show up till 630! Their excuse was an accident on the interstate, glory of social media is you can snoop pretty easily, turns out they were hanging out before meeting me.

Well we go into the mall and the two girls in our group are leading us from store to store, not spending more than 5 minutes in each and not buying anything.

Then finally I see one of them stuffing items into her purse, yeah shoplifting, so I distance myself from them, we end up not going to main event and I go home.

Sunday I text the girls and ask them to never shoplift when I am with them again, they tell me that I shouldn't hang out with them anymore and to leave them alone, I say fine, I tell one of the older guys in our group that didnt go with us about it and he confronts them, same response, so me and him decide to at least try to get one of the other guys to not get involved with the shoplifting (he hasn't stole anything yet but has the girls do it for him) I tell him he needs to stop going along with it just because he likes one of the girls, he turns around tells the girls I said this.

The girls go to Sydney and get her involved, she starts running to everyone saying how horrible I am for saying that and I'm a gossip, well I thought that's it, no wrong, then the three girls start texting me telling me that I should come fight them and some other crazy stuff. So basically I am no longer friends with Sydney or the two other girls.

Now its important to note that I work with everyone that is involved in this luckily they're all in aquatics.

So I decide to take this to the aquatics director at my branch, he specifically asked me to be the distant early warning if some drama was brewing with the lifeguards, so I fill him in, he says stay low and avoid them which was my plan anyways.

Next day he comes asking about alcohol consumption over the weekend, now I don't drink and I had no idea about that, he says that the branch director (my direct superior) has been filled in on this, so I go speak with her about this, in addition to alcohol consumption (I'm guessing it was either on property and possibly on duty for it to be an issue) she also suspects them of doing drugs (I suspect weed) so I tell her **heres the plot twist** that I heard a rumor Sydney is being the middle man for the pot plug (a plug is a drug dealer) at the high school and was attempting to sell to the other guards. My boss asks if its THE Sydney I confirm this and she says I heard the same thing I'll have to investigate.

So that was my week.

More on Sydney, she is now vaping, probably on pot, shes trying to ruin one guys relationship, she is going to homecoming with two guys, and has an additional 3 guys on the line, needless to say I'm glad I'm not dating her.

Also she has no clue about cars and is not a model, both stories fell apart when she did.

ON THE DATING FRONT!!!

I am in the early stages of a real tangible relationship.

So two girls came in the Y looking for jobs, I put the charm on them and sent them over to the hotels to apply there too, well one of them tracked me down on Instagram, she started dm'ing me, (basically texting) at first about the job applications then she asks... 

Wait for it...

"Do you have a girlfriend"

So I reply no, commence to make small talk, she then offers her number, we talk first dates and decide on dinner and a movie, that was last night, gotta set the time and place now

But hey this one at least is honest not like some girls who expect a guy to get that they're interested by sending him smoke signals, in latin, in morse code, on a rainy night.

So I'm seeing where this is going to take me.

Other news, still no car, got a cheaper insurance quote, state farm is ripping us off, for all the cars we have now and a 2012 mustang is only 50 bucks more a month through progressive.

So I'm looking at a 2012 mustang now

I've been considering going to a stand up open mic, I have wanted to try comedy for a while and I have no shortage of story's to tell, just gotta make sure my delivery is good.
