We’ll never monitor record for longest crying marathon – Guinness World Records

The Guinness World Records has announced on its official Twitter page that it will never monitor a record for the longest crying marathon.

This tweet was made after the news of a Nigerian man who embarked on a 100-hour Cry-A-Thon went viral on social media. It was alleged that the man went blind at some point in the challenge.

“Just to quell some recent rumours, we wouldn’t ever monitor a record for the longest marathon crying. Here’s what can be monitored by our team,” GWR tweeted with a link to what makes a Guinness World Record title.
