Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal had one of the worst fallouts in UFC history. The two were best friends who trained together at American Top Team. However, the duo are now bitter enemies. Covington and Masvidal headlined UFC 272; Covington won by unanimous decision. In retaliation, Masvidal sucker-punched Covington in the streets of Miami.
Now, in a street fight video, a youngster did something similar to what Masvidal did to Covington. However, the youngster went one step further as he hit the other youngster with a brass knuckle. The video of the incident went viral on social media. In the video, a youngster in a red shirt sucker punched another youngster in a black shirt, who was on a skateboard. The black shirt guy was speaking to two young girls.
After the sucker punch, the black shirt guy proceeded to land ground and pound. Surprisingly, one of the girls confronted the black shirt guy. Nevertheless, the reason for the sucker punch remains unknown. The comments made by Colby Covington about Jorge Masvidal and his personal life before their fight at UFC 272 were the reason for Masvidal to sucker punch.

Covington and Masvidal have never won the undisputed welterweight title. Both Masvidal and Covington lost twice to Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title. Moreover, Covington recently lost his third crack at the title to Leon Edwards. Covington faced severe criticism for his remarks about Edwards’ dead father before the fight.

The street fight sucker punch video did not go unnoticed by the MMA fans on social media. The video shocked netizens who wanted to know about the victim’s safety. Moreover, the perpetrator was severely criticized by the netizens. Moreover, the videographer of the incident also got criticism for their part in the incident.
