WATCH: Man struck by lightning on sunny day
It was a sunny morning as Montejano was outside walking, but when he saw lightning, he decided to record the storm with his camera phone.
Seattle, Washington (CBS) -- They say curiosity killed the cat; well curiosity struck a Seattle man with lightning.
Robb Montejano from Seattle's Green Lake neighborhood was struck by lightning during a random morning thunderstorm that rolled through the past weekend.
It was a sunny morning as Montejano was outside walking, but when he saw lightning, he decided to record the storm with his camera phone, according to KOMO News.
It didn't take long for Montejano to catch what he was looking for in more ways than one.
Rob is doing fine after the strike and told the news station, "I just felt this surge of electricity go 'boom' through my body. The electricity flowing through my body. I can't describe it. It was amazing."
