Tomodachi Game Anime Release Date Confirmed With New Visual
Tomodachi Game is finally getting an anime adaptation, and here’s every detail regarding its release.
Written by Yuki Sato and Mikoto Yamaguchi and illustrated by Yuki Sato, Tomodachi Game is a psychological thriller-based manga, running since December 2013. The manga is still in continuation, and it’s currently on its 18th volume. Tomodachi Game has a substantial international following, and the fans wanted to see the anime adaptation of the manga.
For those who are unaware of the Tomodachi Game, it’s based on the story of Yuichi Katagiri, a high school boy who loves to spend his time with his five friends. But, after their school trip funds are stolen, all the five friends are forced to play the Tomodachi Game. And this deadly game tests their friendship.

Tomodachi Game New Visual Released
The new visual released for the anime includes all the major characters from the show. You can see the five friends, Yuuichi Katagari, Tenji Misaka, Makato Shibe, Yutori Kokonogi, and Shiho Sawaragi. You can also see Manabu-Kun in the visual. And the coins in the background depict the anime’s theme, money over friendship.
Tomodachi Game Release Date
Tomodachi Game anime will premiere on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022. The show will come out in Japan on Nippon TV and BS NTV. As for the international fans, they can watch the new episodes of Tomodachi Game on Crunchyroll.
Okuruto Noboru is the studio behind the animation of the series, and Hirofumi Ogura is directing the anime. Other staff includes Satomi Miyazaki as character designer, Murano Wormwood as cinematographer, and Weismann as the art director. The anime’s opening theme is called Mizuki Nana (Double Shuffle in English), and the ending theme is Saji (Light Day in English.)
