The facility said two of the residents have not had any symptoms and one resident has had an intermittent, low-grade temperature.
The residents were placed in isolated rooms, and proper protective equipment was given to residents.
“It’s just more of a reality punch that this is close to home. This is home. At one time, even though it was a brief period, that was my mother’s home,” said Natalie Darden, whose mother was a patient there recently and left the facility around February.

The facility also said staff members have taken extra precautions when treating the infected patients and said all staff must wear masks while they are in patient care areas.
The employees are also screened each day before work.
No other residents or staff members have tested positive at this point, according to the facility.
“It’s very, very concerning, and I’m just hoping the best to those that are impacted and their families,” said Darden.
The facility said it encourages family members to call for updates on their loved ones there, but it is not letting visitors in at this time.
