These 7 Designers Are On The Rise

Sies Marjan: It's rare that a new brand (and this was actually Sies Marjan's very first season) draws the industry heavyweights to their show, but lo and behold, Anna Wintour and company sat front and center here. Why? Creative Director Sander Lak is the former head of design at Dries Van Noten. The collection did not disappoint and we can't wait to see his Dries-influenced florals, printed suits, and oversize dresses hit stores.

Area: Another design duo, made up of Beckett Fogg (an architect by trade who worked at Calvin Klein) and Piotrek Panszczyk (a former Chloe designer) is making waves with their funky, retro-esque collections. We took notice upon eyeing their high-shine pajamas, pastel pink furs, and slinky silk gowns. Next up, keep and eye out for Rihanna donning Area clothes—our inside scoop says she has a few pieces on loan.
