Extensions may be necessary if you have really fine hair, while Moodie recommends hair steaming for Afro hair prior to creating this voluminous look. “You can do this at home by adding a treatment mask to your hair after shampooing and wrapping your head in cling film for 20 minutes,” he says. “Then sleep with your hair wrapped flat in a silk scarf or blow-dry it out with a large round bristle brush.”

To re-create Lipa's look, Moodie recommends the same steps except when you brush the hair out, spray hairspray onto a flat bristle brush, and then scoop the hair into a ponytail on the crown of the head. All that's left to do is to give it some attitude with a good hair flick.
