“That was uncalled for” NFL analyst Tony Romo mercilessly body-shames Chiefs HC Andy Reid on national television
Andy Reid and the Chiefs had a great season opener against the Cardinals where they won the game pretty comfortably, but that didn’t stop CBS’s lead analyst Tony Romo to make fun of the Chiefs HC.
Tony Romo was in the commentators booth and as the camera panned towards Andy Reid he could not stop himself from saying “Woah baby, let’s go get a snack.”
It was all fun and games for both the people involved but Twitter took it seriously and there were mixed reactions over Tony Romo’s choice of jokes.
In Romo’s defense, Andy Reid has always shown love for cheeseburgers and has even promised his players cheeseburgers prior to every Sunday game. “Treat you to a cheeseburger.” The head coach delivers the promise of cheeseburgers by giving every player one.
Andy Reid loves cheeseburgers so much that he uses them as an adjective. Reid once tried to explain a reporter the joy he got from a good play. In his words “That’s a pretty good feeling. That’s like a good cheeseburger.”
The Kansas City Chiefs are at a flying start at the start of the season with coach Andy Reid and QB Patrick Mahomes leading the line for a possible Super Bowl.
