Tears Of The Kingdom: Gasas Shrine Guide

Quick Links

Among the many shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, there is one located on the western side of the Hyrule Kingdom. The Gasas Shrine is at the depth of a valley that serves as a borderline between Tabantha Frontier and Gerudo Highlands.

Gasas is not the most complicated shrine in the game, but it might feel a bit confusing if you don't look around carefully. A basic knowledge of physics combined with Link's Ultrahand ability will help you finish completing the challenge and earn a Light of Blessing in a few minutes.

Gasas Shrine Location

Gasas Map 1

In order to see the location of the Gasas Shrine on a full map, you need to activate the Skyview Tower for Gerudo Highlands, but regarding the fact that the shrine is almost on the border of Gerudo and Tabantha, you can still easily find it with Tabantha's Skyview Tower enabled.

Gasas Map 2

The Shrine is located in a dry area, but the weather is quite normal, which means you don't need any special clothes to reach it, though the majority of Gerudo Highlands is covered in snow.

Solving Gasas Shrine

Gasas Name

Once you enter the shrine, move forward until you see a huge box hanging from the ceiling. Shoot an arrow at its rope to cause it to fall down. Use the box to move over the gap.

Gasas Box

Now, if you continue the path, there is a staircase leading to the next level, but it is not fully connected to the level. So, grab the previous box and move downstairs to place it in the gap between the staircase and the floor. Now you can move to the other level.

Gasas Box Attach

There are two metal plates here, attach them to each other from the heads to create a longer bridge and use it to move to the third platform. We will still need that bridge.

Gasas Bridge

Bring the bridge to the third platform. Then grab the box in the third platform at the corner, and attach it to one end of the bridge. If you look above, there are two chests hanging from the ceiling on opposite sides, but you can't shoot at them now, as they will drop into the river.

Gasas Box Bridge

The chest on your left contains the key to open the door. The box you attached to the bridge will make it stand still when the chest drops onto the bridge. Place the bridge similar to the image below, and shoot at the chest's rope. Do the same thing for the other chest. However, you don't need to have the box attached to the bridge this time around.

Gasas Chest 2
Gasas Chest 1

Open the door using the key to move to the final level. There is a hole on the left side of this room and a rocky sphere hanging on the right. Use Ultrahand to cause the sphere to swing towards the hole. Once the sphere is speeding up towards the hole, shoot at its rope.

This way, the sphere will drop onto the ground instead of the river. Now, you can use Ultrahand to place the sphere inside the hole, which puts an end to this shrine's puzzle.
