Report: Colts linebacker Darius Leonard agrees to 5-year contract extension

ESPN said the contract extension is worth nearly $100 million.

INDIANAPOLIS — ESPN reports Colts linebacker Darius Leonard and the team have agreed to a new multi-year contract extension.  

ESPN said the new contract is worth nearly $100 million.  

Leonard was the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2018 when he led the league in tackles.

According to ESPN, Leonard is guaranteed nearly $53 million under the contract.
