Rapper Candy Bleakz explains how lack of relationship among female artistes’ frustrates her career
Akiode Blessing, professionally known as Candy Bleakz, a Nigerian female emcee, has stated that there is no relationship or collaborative spirit among female artists in the country.
She made the remark while speaking on a podcast about how she interacts with other women in the business, given that the majority are singers and she is a rapper.

Candy mentioned that the problem is that women are unable to support themselves because they do not have the same type of relationship as their male counterparts.

According to her, the fact that she performs in a genre that is distinct from what most female musicians do, makes it more difficult because she has to work harder to be recognised.
