Problems with HDIDo/Club Systems International V1 handicap software
I have a major issue with several of the club handicap systems from a different perspective.
My son has memberships at 3 clubs who operate via Howdidido, Masterscoreboard and Intelligent Golf.
Given he frequently plays 2 or 3 qualifying competitions per week (sometimes two the same day at different clubs) the errors on the reporting and scores between them occupies me with emails every single week to one club secretary or the other.
He now holds his "home" handicap at the club where we have the fewest errors in processing interfaces - not the club which he considers his home club.
How these systems can be "licensed" and approved when they clearly do not talk to each properly and are not integrated in an effective manner defies belief and I wonder who undertakes this process.
I have been fighting the issues with these systems now for over a year and frankly it is getting worse.
They bring rounds in multiple times, not at all, with incorrect scores, prior to changing his home club get no away scores for 6 months etc. etc. I could go on and on.
But for the fact he is a Cat 1 golfer on the cusp of getting his handicap low enough for the bigger amateur competitions I would throw my arms in the air and give up because the screw ups inevitably lead to a higher handicap than is correct .....
Just makes me a pain in the neck highlighting the latest errors but inevitably acting as a go between across the clubs.
