Police arrest man in fatal Richmond shooting

Police are trying to find a man who killed another man at a Richmond apartment complex.

RICHMOND, Ind. (WTHR) — Police in Richmond have made an arrest in the murder of a man in an apartment complex early Thursday.

Police arrested Michael Rashaun Carr for the murder of Jason Lewis.

Police found Jason Lewis' body in the parking lot of Genesis Apartments just before 2 a.m. Thursday. He had been shot several times.

Witnesses told officers at the scene a thin man who stood about six-feet tall shot Lewis.

Carr was booked into Wayne county Jail on a murder charge.
