Nigerians dig up old photo of Patoranking and Abuja-based kidnapper, say singer is lucky he wasn’t picked up
An old picture of popular Nigerian musician, Patoranking and a recently arrested Abuja-based kidnapper has caused a stir online.
In one of the pictures, Patoranking was seen hanging out in a club with the kidnapper, and they queried the musician for being ‘friends’ with such a person.
Some Nigerians have said Patoranking is lucky that he wasn’t picked up by the Bayelsa-born kidnap kingpin, John Lyon.
The singer’s fans also thanked God on his behalf that he wasn’t kidnapped or exploited by John Lyon and his dangerous gang.

As at press time, the internationally renowned musician was yet to respond to the photos and the criticism surrounding them.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian lady identified simply as Ginika revealed how she got lucky after being kidnapped on her way to work.
Ginika disclosed that she was only a teenager back then, and one of her abductors rescued her from the rest of the group because he liked her.
She made the revelation on Twitter while responding to a post asking users to share true experiences that sound made up.
