Nigerian millionaire who had lavish wedding arrested for 68 armed robberies in USA

A Nigerian media personality known as Vee reacted to the viral news of the arrest of Nigerian big boy, Charles Chukwuma Onwuomelie over crimes of armed robbery.

The flamboyant young man was arrested for being responsible for 68 armed robberies in the US as he is known as the ‘Blue cloth bandit’.

The young man has been known to rob supermarkets and gas stations in the US and was recently apprehended which was a shock to many.

The OAP, while speaking on the matter on her Twitter page @talk2vee, said that Charles had thrown a lavish wedding and at the time no one knew he was an armed robber in the US. Vee went on to advise Nigerians not to envy rich and flashy people who had questionable sources of income.

Nigerians had mixed reactions to the news of Charles’ arrest and his lavish wedding.

Accolades As Nigerian Police Officer Daniel Amah Rejects N83M Bribe

In other news, a Nigerian police officer has shown exemplary discipline and received a commendation from the IGP after rejecting a $200,000 bribe, estimated to be N83m.

SP Daniel Amah is a stationed officer at the Kano state police command and was said to have rejected a huge amount of money from armed robbers as a bribe.

Due to his moral excellence and discipline, he received a letter of commendation from the Inspector General of Police and was presented by the acting commissioner of police in Kano, DCP Abubakar Zubairu in celebration of his honesty.
