New World Maintenance Schedule on April 19 and Patch Notes
New World servers will undergo maintenance for nearly two hours today, and players will not be able to log in to the game during the downtime. Here is the exact schedule of the maintenance.
New World players will not be able to play the game tonight in the US and during midnight in Europe as the developers are taking the servers down for a few hours to apply some fixes.

While the maintenance is not supposed to last any longer than 2 hours, it is worth the waiting as it will fix some of the annoying issues in the game. Most of the fixed bugs are geometry bugs like collision boxes that could either send players to unintended areas or prevent them from correctly interacting with objects or NPC.

New World servers will go under maintenance on April 19 at 11 pm PT/April 20 at 2 am ET/6 am UTC/8 am CEST. The maintenance is expected to last for 2 hours, but it might be extended if anything unexpected happens.
New World Patch Notes
- Collision underneath Neishatun’s platform has been adjusted to prevent players from falling into unintended areas.
- Fixed a number of issues with the Neishatun encounter causing him to go dormant.
- Fixed issue where Isabella was unable to attack if players stood in a certain area.
- Walled off the spot where players could jump down and re-enter the arena.
- Fixed an issue where certain elemental creatures granted incorrect rewards when gathered.
New World is now available on PC through Steam. Thus far, the developers have not revealed any plans for the console release of the game.
