Miranda Lambert’s Husband Is off the Hook After the Woman He Danced With Set the Record Straight
Fans of Miranda Lambert were up in arms this week after a since-deleted video of her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, dancing with a woman at the bar went viral on social media. And while some might jump to conclusions from the video alone, the woman who danced with McLoughlin is setting the record straight.
Talking to InTouch Weekly, the woman, who chose to remain anonymous, explained what really happened between them. “Earlier in the night, we noticed him in the roped-off section at the front of the bar,” the woman, who was celebrating a Bachelorette Party with her friends that night, remembered. “We recognized him, and we all thought it was cool that he was there, and mentioned hoping for a Miranda appearance.”

Later on in the night, her friend group made their way close to the VIP section and they asked him for a “picture with the bride-to-be.” “He said of course, and we thanked him,” she said.
Sometime later, the woman and her friends hopped into the roped-off section, despite not knowing entirely how. “I’m not sure how that was initiated or happened,” she said. “We were all dancing together and laughing and talking, thanking him for helping to make our bride-to-be’s night so special and fun. He was gracious and polite and kind.”
“He did a lot of laughing at us because we are a silly bunch and were having a good time just dancing and being goofy together,” she added.
Throughout all the dancing and laughing, however, the woman insisted “there was never anything inappropriate said” between them and McLoughlin. “There was no vibe whatsoever of anything other than friendly, innocent dancing and talking,” she reiterated.
“He was not flirty,” she stated, letting Lambert’s police officer husband potentially off the hook. “Truly, none of us ever felt that there was any flirting happening. It was just dancing, laughing, and talking. He was friendly and casual, but never inappropriate or suggestive in any way.”
But while the woman in the video might not have had flirty vibes with McLoughlin, sources close to Lambert are already suggesting she’s rightfully unhappy about this.
“She loves Brendan and takes their marriage seriously, so I know she’s upset [about] this,” a source told OK! Magazine. “Brendan has a cheating past that she’s very well aware of, which is why they discussed it at length before they were married.”
“It’s inappropriate, disrespectful and Miranda deserves better,” the source continued. “I’m sure Brendan is in the dog house, and rightfully so. He definitely crossed the line.”
While Lambert has yet to manifest over the video on social media, it’s safe to say the Lambert-McLoughlin might not the happiest right now. Hopefully, this woman’s testimony can help them out!
