Milani Rose Blush Review: This Popular $9 Blush Is Blowing Up on Pinterest

Call me crazy, but I basically trust Pinterest with any life decision, or at least those that involve my makeup routine. I found Milani Rose Blush, which has been repinned over 17,000 times when I was trolling through Pinterest (as per usual) in need of a new blush. And while you might think I'm only lusting over this product because it's super popular on Pinterest, that's not the case. As we all learned in high school, the most popular kid isn't always the most successful or the most hard-working. In this case, however, I was proven wrong.

I'm a sucker for any product that looks as pretty in the packaging as it does on skin—take my obsession with Winky Lux's Flower balms. The Milani Rose Blush—which has a imprinted depression of a ruffled rose bloom right on the pressed powder—is so gorgeous, you'll want to scatter a few on your vanity. I plan on displaying a few on my desk and in my apartment. They're like an instant mood-lifter.

And here's something even cooler. Not only does the matte powder blush look like a rose, but it's actually made with crushed rose petals. If that doesn't sound Pinterest as hell, I don't know what does. It's currently available in six different shades—from the dusky peony hue, Romantic Rose, to the golden peach pink Blossomtime Rose—each of which is perfect for blending on different skin tones.

And let's be real: With an under-$10 price tag, there's no huge commitment if you want to test them out. Just think: The other rose-inspired illuminator we recently told you about, the Lancôme La Rose a Poudrer, would set you back a cool $60. (That said, it is beautiful, too.)

Here's proof of the rose blushes' gorgeousness on a range of women:
