Michaelis Corporation Sponsors This Year's Badge & Bean Event

The Insurance Restoration Specialists at Michaelis Corporation are once again sponsoring the Badge & Bean - a unique golf outing and chili cook-off that benefits one lucky firehouse and the People's Burn Foundation of Indiana on Friday, June 2 at Ironwood Golf Club. All proceeds from the outing go to a local firehouse for lifesaving firefighting equipment and to the People’s Burn Foundation of Indiana.

As an insurance restoration specialist, Michealis Corporation employees often experience the loss and damage of a fire and accident alongside local firefighters. This prompted them to raise funds for much needed equipment such as thermal imaging scanners that can spot a person through a smoke filled room.

The winning fire station is determined through a chili cook-off between the participating fire fighting teams. They will try to win the favor of a team of celebrity judges.

Michaelis send a special thank you to Iron Wood Golf Club, Meyer & Wallis, ESPN 950 AM, WXNT 1430 AM, Roger Harvey of Channel 13 and Mike Reeves, president of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Firefighters Local 416, who help make this event possible.
