McNamara Florist moves into Indianapolis near east side headquarters

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - McNamara Florist has a new home in Indianapolis.

The ribbon is cut for the florists' new headquarters on the near east side between I-70 and Mass Ave. The company moved from Fishers to a 176,000-square-foot warehouse along Ludlow Avenue.

"What I hope to see next are entrepreneurs, artists, manufacturers and innovators following in McNamara's footsteps by finding unique spaces and resources in the Mass. Avenue-Brookside area and being part of this neighborhood revitalization," said Mayor Joe Hogsett, who wore a red rose on his lapel.

The 62-year-old company has more than 100 employees based in Indianapolis.
