Matthews police officer changes tire for woman stranded with 2 kids – WSOC TV

MATTHEWS, N.C. — A Matthews police officer took the time to help a woman stranded on the side of the road with two small boys Thursday afternoon, and a passerby caught it all on video.

Officer Shepherd saw that the woman had a flat tire on Pleasant Plains Road at about 3:30 p.m., a viewer said.

Shepherd pulled over and, in the sweltering heat, changed the tire for the grateful woman.
