I had the Mevo and now the R10.
Like others have said, I don’t use it enough in all honesty to justify the outlay, I don’t have a net at home and taking it to the driving range often feels like overkill, setting it up having an iPad etc. though nobody has ever said anything I do feel self conscious.
It helps most when you are working on new swings as you get feedback in the form of numbers rather than just seeing the ball fly out there.
I’d def take the R10 over the Mevo having had both due to functionality, both were accurate when it came to yardages (though range balls don’t go like normal balls so watch this), the pro at my course had his trackman out one day and we sit it up next to the Mevo and it was ridiculously accurate against the trackman numbers for the dozen numbers within 1 or 2 yards for carry, spin numbers were within 50rpm etc) or so shots I hit, so confidence in the numbers for that is high, the R10 is showing the same sort of numbers so again feel accuracy is spot on. The R10 sometimes struggles with shots of the toe or heel, you can see the ball curve left or right but it won’t always pick that up. Both units miss the occasional shot but for the price versus trackman both are excellent.
If you go Mevo you also need little silver dots on the ball for accurate spin numbers, they don’t affect carry distance or other measurements, just spin, so again something to watch if you are using it at the range as you’ll have to put silver dots on the range balls to get backspin numbers. You may not care for the backspin numbers enough to put the dots on range balls but worth a thought before you buy
