‘Kuku kill us’: Man says N617/ltr fuel cheap, suggests N2k/ltr

A Nigerian man on Twitter has sparked discussion after he suggested that the current price of fuel, N617 per litre, is too small. 

He suggested N2000 per litre instead because, according to him, Nigeria still lags behind other countries. He asked how Nigeria can have an economy like Singapore when the citizens are not ready to bear the cost.

“617/L for fuel is too small. Nigeria still lags behind other countries in the price of petrol. How can we have an economy like Singapore when the citizens are not ready to bear the cost. The realistic and fair price for fuel is 2k/L. The president needs to get serious plix,” He tweeted.
