Liquid-looking leather leggings, an off-duty model staple, went from rock star to preppy thanks to a military blazer (though a modelish tummy-baring white tee is still involved).

And last February she put together another beyond-simple outfit that impressed me. A classic black pencil skirt will go with legitimately anything, but she made it more interesting by wearing it with a boxy top.

This one was actually all about the details for me. What could have been a simple skirt felt exceptionally rad due to quilting on the hips and horizontal zips. A solid shirt would've worked, but with stripes, piping, and double buttons on the pockets, this one was more of a thought-out choice.
