In the evening for a Queen Elizabeth portrait unveiling, Kate changed into a cocktail dress by one of her favorite designers, Jenny Packham. The custom creation—which was apparently inspired by New Zealand—showed just enough sparkle with the hand-stitched beading on the shoulder. The long-sleeve and tea-length silhouette kept the look regal and refined. (Prediction: a run on long-sleeve cocktail dresses in five, four, three...)
