Security company Sonitrol of Indianapolis donated a police K-9 to help the department.
INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department's K-9 unit just got a little bigger.
Security company Sonitrol of Indianapolis donated a police K-9 to help the department.
On top of that, the company is covering the $10,000 training costs to get the K-9 ready to patrol.
Sonitrol has donated more than 20 police K-9s over the years.
Training for this new IMPD K-9 will start Monday.
