And with the revelations of the memoir reportedly leading to trust issues between him and his long-time partner Jessica Biel, reports have emerged claiming that a divorce might be the couple’s final resort.
But amidst personal struggles, Justin Timberlake is getting back to what he does best, announcing his next album after a 6-year-long hiatus, with his last one being 2018’s Man of the Woods.

Justin Timberlake Is Back With a Bang
For a while, Justin Timberlake has been teasing fans with a potential sixth album after he scrubbed his Instagram clean to release hints regarding his step into a new musical era. Finally, during his free hometown concert in Memphis’ Orpheu, the Trolls Star confirmed that a new album is indeed coming soon after performing his new song Selfish from his new album.
Timberlake’s longtime collaborator, Timbaland, teased the upcoming album last year, which will mark Timberlake’s sixth solo release, stressing that it will be a return to “fun Justin”. But while fans are enthralled by the pop star’s return to the realm of music, unlike his professional life, things are reportedly going downhill with his wife.

Even before Britney Spears‘ memoir, which revealed that Spears had to get an abortion in secrecy following Timberlake’s hesitancy to become a father, Biel and the singer have had their issues. Back in 2019, speculations emerged that the pop star was being unfaithful to his wife of 7 years at the time after he was spotted holding hands with Alisha Wainwright. Although the Trolls Star did apologize to Beil publically, stating, “I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation.” he denied the rumors of an affair.
But as of now, sources close to the couple have come forward stating that despite their love for each other, a divorce is appearing to be the most plausible outcome. Per Life & Style:
“Nobody wants a divorce,” shared the insider. “Justin and Jessica have two great kids, and they’d love to make it work — it just may be too late.”
While time will tell what the future holds for Biel and Timberlake’s marriage, for now, fans can rejoice in the fact that a new album from the pop icon is on the way.
