Prayers for the defenceman toppled social media accounts following their Christmas break. It wasn’t long before Carlson posted a Christmas celebratory photo with his kids on social media, making the fans believe he was fine. A recent update on his wife Gina’s account has revealed what conspired after the slapshot incident, shocking the fans to their core.
Since he took off the ice on the 23rd of last month, John Carlson has yet to make his return debut. While the organization notified that he is placed on the long-term injured list, his Christmas Insta post mislead the others. In the post, no visible wounds or stitch marks can be seen.
Gina, celebrating his husband’s 33rd birthday, captioned on social media details regarding the slap-slop incident. She wrote, “When they told me right away that you walked off the ice a couple weeks ago, and that was a good sign, it didn’t make me feel any better bc I know it would take your legs not working for you to not get up..”
