He’s my blood brother – Reactions as Jigan Baba Oja backtracks on taking legal action against Asake
Nollywood’s Abimbola Kazeem, well known as Jigan Baba Oja, has backtracked on his promise to take legal action against Afrobeat artiste, Ahmed “Asake” Ololade.
Jigan had already called out Asake for taking a dig at him in his song and threatened legal action – he had vowed to sue the singer for defamation after Asake made light of his disability in one of his songs.
In a sharp twist, however, Jigan expressed his love for Asake in a post accompanied by a credit alert screenshot (of money sent to him by the singer). He demanded that no one should fight Asake on his behalf again.

In his post, he said; “Asake ti tewo! No one in this world should ever fight him over me again! God go punish anyone that fights! Asake for me!! Good night lovers!! Mr. Money thank you @asakemusic”.
He further referred to Asake as his “blood brother” in a video in which he disclosed that he had only recently learned of their relationship, and urged his supporters to show restraint.
