Today marks the 30th anniversary of the release of my favorite movie, Woody Allen's Annie Hall. Limerick time!
*If I had any taste at all
I'd look just like Annie Hall
With gobs of ties
And nonexistent thighs
Getting dressed would be a ball!
In the April issue of GLAMOUR, I wrote a fashion well story called "Clothes like his, but cuter." Styled by Maggie Mann, the 10-page spread consists of recreations of scenes from the film; it's my favorite shoot we've ever done here at Glamour. Did you guys see it? And did you like it? And more importantly, did you like the headline? I was REALLY hoping we could go with "I HEART your pants." Like "I HEART New York?" Because the opening image was of the NYC skyline and the model wore pants in every shot??? OK, no wonder it wasn't approved.
