Guide for Five Nights at Freddy's 2

If you have played the first game, you will likely know most of these hints and tips, but bear with me. Let me first start with the controls:

Throughout the night, the animatronics will keep moving around when not in vision, although you will never see them physically walking around.

In the game, you have to keep track of certain things.

1. The left and right vent lights: You will have to keep tapping them every few seconds to stop animatronics from entering the room.
2. Your main flashlight: For shining at the entrance of the door. Either one or more animatronics can appear at the doorway in front of you. Keep shining your flashlight at them every few seconds. The battery of your flashlight can go down and it will take some time for the battery to recharge.
3. The Freddy mask: This is vital in case one of the animatronics enters the room. They cannot attack or see you as a threat when you are wearing it. The only animatronic who is not fooled by this mask is Foxy.
4. The camera system: This is not going to be of much use throughout the entire game, except for night 1. It only allows you to look at the different places in the restaurant. As always, when you are at a camera location, the animatronics will not move in direct contact.
5. The music box: This is the hardest to keep track of as you have to keep winding it up every few seconds. You will die very quickly if the music box is out of winding. For the following achievement: you will have to keep the box wound above half for the entire night, which, as you might have figured by now, is a pain in the neck.

There is a pattern I’d recommend using which goes: , , , , hold , , . In short, this is: Left vent light, Flashlight, Right vent light, open camera, wind music box, close camera, wear mask. This method can cheese you through the entire game (except night 1) but you have to do this pattern very, very fast.
