Graphic moment bank robbery suspect shot dead by Arizona SWAT team pointing gun at police dog's head
A wanted suspect was shot dead by police in Arizona after he aimed a gun at a police dog's head.
Shocking bodycam video released by the Tucson Police department recorded the moment police tracked down Francisco Javier Galarza, who was wanted in connection with a bank robbery and home invasion.
Galarza, 49, was spotted coming out of a Circle K convenience store when officers ordered him to get down on the ground.
'Runner, runner, runner, runner,' one officer yells.

As Galaza refused their orders, he was tackled by a police dog named Kiro who ran for the man's legs.
Within an instant, Galaza whipped out a handgun and aimed in at the K-9's head before also aiming it at other police.
Officers in turn aimed at the man before firing off five shots and killing him.
Police could be heard yelling 'Police! Get down!' several times at Galarza as he ran away. Officer Barry Peterson, a 15-year veteran, then released Kiro.

Galarza has a lengthy criminal history record according to News13.
In 1992, Galaraza was sentenced to three years in prison. Two years on he was convicted of drug possession and was sentenced to four years.
In 2000, Galarza was convicted of vehicle theft. In 2001 he was convicted of six counts of armed robbery and jailed for 11 years. After his release he was convicted once again for armed robbery for another seven-and-a-half years.
