NEW YORK (WTHR) – Good Housekeeping magazine announced its 2017 Best Toy Awards Thursday.
The magazine named its 20 hottest toys and stocking stuffers for the holidays after it conducted tests to determine if a toddler toy can break into small pieces and pose a choking hazard, examining toys for pinch points and sharp edges, and confirming that the toys comply with the latest consumer industry safety standards.
After testing, 100 toys were given to kids aged 1 to 13 play with.
