Glamour x Tory Burch's Emmy Lunch: Issa Rae, Chrissy Metz, and More

At Glamour x Tory Burch's Women to Watch lunch this weekend, Glamour Editor-in-Chief Samantha Barry said it best: "It's been the year for women in Hollywood, and really, the year for women, period."

Which is why Glamour and Tory Burch brought together a mix of nominees, executives, and actresses on the rise for an intimate lunch at the designer's Rodeo Drive flagship boutique ahead of tonight's Emmy awards. The goal? To toast television's best and brightest a.k.a. the women who are making real change in front of and behind the camera. Of course, that includes celebrating the cover star of Glamour's October TV issue, Issa Rae.

Ellie Kemper—fresh off of running four miles as part of the Malibu Triathlon earlier that day—joined Tracee Ellis Ross at the boutique's third floor Tory Sport shop-in-shop. Ross is nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy on black-ish at this year's Emmys, while Kemper's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is nominated for Best Comedy.
