Giordano's aiming for spring opening on Indy's south side
Chicago-style deep dish pizza will reportedly be coming to the south side early next year, Eyewitness News has learned.
GREENWOOD, Ind. (WTHR) - Good news for deep dish pizza lovers!
Chicago-style deep dish pizza will reportedly be coming to the south side early next year.
Last week, Eyewitness News found a pending request for a liquor license for Giordano's with the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission. The address listed on the application is on East Stop 13 Road in Greenwood, which is near U.S. 31 and County Line Road, where there used to be a Max & Erma's restaurant.
Tuesday, the restaurant said it plans to expand to that location and open in the spring of 2018.
It would be the fourth Giordano's location in Indiana, the third in central Indiana. Others have opened in downtown Indianapolis, Castleton and in Lake County in the northern part of the state.
