Genshin Impact Starglitter Shop April 2022 Characters, Weapons Revealed

It’s already April 2022 on the Asia server of Genshin Impact, meaning it got hit with the monthly reset, with new 4-star characters and weapons in the Starglitter exchange and the Paimon’s Bargains Shop.

First off, keep in mind you still have a few hours left to buy the March 4-star characters Ningguang and Xingqiu if you’re playing on the Genshin Impact America or Europe servers. The monthly reset of the Paimon’s Bargain Shop hasn’t happened there yet.

This month, the two 4 star characters on sale are Razor and Amber. As always, I only suggest buying the characters if you regularly use them and wish to raise their Constellations. In particular, if you love the character, I’d say don’t worry about the Meta and tier lists and whatnot. Tier lists in Genshin Impact are in my opinion nearly useless unless you’re ranking the characters on how easy it is to get good Artifacts substats for them. And why care about which character is “stronger” when the game is incredibly easy anyway barring for Floor 12 of the Abyss. Just pull and buy characters because you like them, not because you saw a YouTuber say the character is “broken”. I do use Amber from time to time, and her Baron Bunny E can be useful for those rare but annoying Abyss floors where you need a decoy, so I’ll be buying her.

As for weapons, this month the Royal Weapons are back. Personally speaking, I think it’s best to avoid these like the plague, as their CRIT Rate Special Ability is not worth it.

Moreover, don’t forget the Stardust exchange shop is getting reset as well. You should use your Stardust to buy the 5 new Intertwined Fates and Acquaint Fates every month there. Especially if you plan to pull for Yelan and Shinobu in Version 2.7.

Ever since the launch of Inazuma, the Paimon’s Bargains Exchange Shop also sells new materials dropped from Inazuma mobs. I don’t recommend ever buying these, farm for the materials yourself every day instead. It’s a waste of Starglitter to buy them.
