Fortnite Alien Artifacts Week 2

One of the biggest changes in Fortnite Season 7 was the introduction of new ‘Alien Artifacts’, which can be found around the island and used to customize the new Kymera skin.

As many players will know, the Fortnite island isn’t exactly small, so finding the Alien Artifacts each week can be tricky. With the second week of Fortnite Season 7, there will be new artifacts landing across the map for players to find.

What Are Alien Artifacts?

Fortnite’s new “Invasion” theme allows the developers to get creative with the new season. One of the ways Epic Games decided to mix things up was to introduce Alien Artifacts around the map.

These artifacts can be collected by the player and used as alien currency to unlock different styles for the brand new Kymera Outfit.

This is the first time Epic Games have given the player an almost endless amount of customization options for a single skin. Once players collect enough alien currency, they can change various details about Kymera. From the colour of the aliens’ eyes to the shape of his head, or even the colour of his armor.

Alien Artifacts – Week 2 Locations

The location of the Alien Artifacts for Fortnite Week 2 was previously leaked by XTigerHyperX. The Fortnite leaker was kind enough to give players a heads up for the Week 2 locations.

The location of the artifacts for Week 2 can be found at the following POI’s:

• Believer Beach – West of the beach.
• Pleasant Park – North east of the park.
• Corny Complex – South of the complex.
• Retail Row – North of Retail Row.
• Misty Meadows – North of the meadows, on the small island.

When Will Week 3 Artifacts Arrive?

New updates are released for Fortnite each week, which often include new challenges, Alien Artifacts and more.

According to iFireMonkey, Alien Artifacts should arrive on the island every Tuesday along with new Epic Quests. Whilst Legendary Quests should arrive every Wednesday.

If this information is correct, expect Week 3 of Alien Artifacts to arrive on June 22nd.
