Dead By Daylight (DBD) Chapter 23 'Ringu' Release Time & Date
Following a successful launch on the Dead By Daylight PTB servers last month, Chapter 23: Sadako Rising comes to all supported platforms later this week with an official release.
The upcoming Dead By Daylight Chapter is in partnership with the iconic Japanese horror movie, Ringu. Chapter 23 will give players the chance to get their hands on a brand new killer and survivor, Onryo Sadako Yamamura and Yoichi Asakawa.
With fans eager to jump into Dead By Daylight Chapter 23, here’s the official release time and date for all platforms.

Dead By Daylight: Chapter 23 Release Time and Date
According to the official Dead By Daylight website, the release date of Chapter 23: Sadako Rising is Tuesday, March 8th, 2022.
Similar to previous Chapter launches, the release time for Dead By Daylight Chapter 23 is 9AM PT / 12PM ET / 5PM GMT. An official countdown is available on the game’s official website. Players can also set a reminder so they know exactly when the new Chapter is available.

Dead By Daylight Chapter 23 Changes From PTB
As mentioned previously, Chapter 23 was previously released for the Steam PTB version of Dead By Daylight. However, there will be some important changes for the full release this week.
According to Behaviour Interactive, The Onryo will receive the following adjustments:
MANIFESTING
- Decreased Manifest charge time to 1.5 seconds (was 2.5 seconds).
- Decreased Demanifest charge time to 1.5 seconds (was 2.5 seconds).
- Smoothened the movement speed transition when Manifesting.
VISIBILITY
- Decreased max visible range while demanifested to 24m (was 32m)
- Decreased Terror Radius to 24m (was 32m)
CONDEMNED
- Decreased the amount of Condemned removed when inserting a tape to 3 segments (was 4 segments)
- Decreased time taken to passively gain a condemned segment while holding a tape to 25 seconds (was 30 seconds)
- Add-on: Yoichi’s Fishing Net: Decreases time taken to passively gain a condemned segment while holding a tape by 12% (was 20%)
PHOTOSENSITIVTY
- Reduced the intensity of The Onryō’s attack VFX
- Reduced the intensity of the Condemned VFX, both on the screen & on the Survivor
- Reduced the intensity of screen effects in the lobby
- Improvements to The Onryō’s mini-mori transition
