Chopper 9 flies over heavy police presence at northeast Charlotte apartment complex – WSOC TV

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over a heavy police presence Monday afternoon at a northeast Charlotte apartment complex.

Multiple officers could be seen surrounding the Links at Citiside Apartments around 3:30 p.m. on Community Circle near Citiside Drive.

Some Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers could also be seen standing behind police cruisers and pointing weapons at a single apartment.

The scene has since cleared.

No other details have been released.

This is an ongoing investigation. Channel 9 is reaching out to CMPD to get more information.
