‘Can a man be snatched’: Actress Foluke Daramola reacts to allegation of husband-snatching
Foluke Daramola-Salako, a popular Nollywood actress, has responded to allegations that she snatched her husband, Kayode Salako, from his ex-wife and reportedly took over her school.
A Twitter user claimed to have observed the incident, which also made headlines years ago, in response to Foluke’s post, in which she lashed out at Nigerian youths who disrespect the elderly online.
The Twitter user, who claimed to be a student at the time, said that Foluke arrived at the school as an acting coach and ended up snatching the proprietress’ husband and taking over the school.
“I’m not judging o. can’t take her serious. cos everytime I see dis woman I’m reminded of how she came into my sec school as acting coach & ended up snatching d school owner’s husband. Both of them took d school from d Proprietress who had inherited it from her mum. 🙊.” The Twitter user wrote.
Foluke responded to the accusations in a video she posted online, saying she is not an academic and never met her husband at school.

According to her, they met on “neutral” ground, and the school in issue was founded by a relative of her husband’s and was not owned by her husband’s ex-wife, who divorced him.
Foluke, who claimed to be her husband’s only legal wife, confessed that he is a polygamist who has children with multiple women.
She did, however, state that she does not believe in a guy being “snatched” because he is not an item.
She went on to describe how she and her spouse were separated for over a year before reuniting to make their marriage work.
