And Brooklyn Decker discovered just why bikinis make an unsuitable choice for sports as she suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction on Monday.
For as she jumped energetically around in the Miami surf with her board, the blonde's blue floral bikini slipped down to reveal her nipple.

Looking rather annoyed with her errant curves, the 26-year-old grabbed hold of them and pushed them back inside before readjusting the bikini to her satisfaction.
Showing she's a professional, Brooklyn then happily carried on with her shoot for Vogue Mexico.

Then it was time for the intrepid beauty to take on the ocean waves.
Taking another board under her arm, she headed out into the ocean for some more shots.
It was a long day for Brooklyn, who later swapped into a second outfit, posing on the sand in a striped, zigzag swimsuit with matching colourful bandana.
