Brian Fox Brooklyn and Brian Fox Bay Ridge, Brian Fox Obituary
We all are aware of how catastrophic 2020 has been, but today we have to digest an even more gruesome truth. This truth is not about the world or politics - it's about a personal loss. A loss that heavies our heart and compresses our spirit. Brian Fox, our beloved friend, is no longer among us. True, this news is hard to swallow for both Democrats and Republicans, but we have to remember that human life transcends political boundaries.
Born in Brooklyn and Bay Ridge's jewel, Brian balanced his political commitment and personal associations beautifully. His absence now is irreplaceable. I am desperate to hear some consoling words from anyone, any statement that would ease the pain, a little, if not much.
Brian Fox: A Friend, Mentor and A True Warrior
I want you to know Brian Fox as I did - an amiable wall street broker, a political enthusiast, a passionate hockey player, an exceptional mentor and, above all, an even greater friend.
A Passionate Sports Lover
Brian's love for hockey was as gigantic as his persona. If you've known him, you would know about his tale of sheer determination and hard work. At the tender age of only 16, he bagged a contract to play in the minor leagues. That ignited his journey to Canada and began training in the single A division. His consistent progress led him to be drafted to the Montreal Canadians but, alas! A severe ACL injury put a pause to his budding hockey career.
Wall Street Broker and Techpreneur
After his hockey days, Brian started his new professional journey as a Wall Street Broker. He managed to gain quite a reputation and success. His zealous spirit and a knack for understanding volatile market trends made him not only a successful broker but also, on several occasions, a victor in earning a fortune worth over $200,000 in one sale.
After the debacle of stock market crash, he used his acumen and tech-savvy personality to open his own tech company.
Brian Fox: The Jovial Spirit
Brian was a humorous person who had a fear of the oddest things, like anteaters and baby Yoda. As crazy as it sounds, he would give out reactions that would make anyone laugh out loud. The memories of the countless nights we spent together, going wild in cheering sports teams, or enjoying the serenity of melodies are unforgettable.
One of the quirkiest traditions Brian had was his unique way of greeting. Instead of a prevalent and dull 'Hello', we used to shout 'YEEEEEEAAAAAHHH!' at one another.
Life indeed looks colorless and lonely without Brian's presence. No more fun-filled phone calls, no more 'YYYEEEAAAHHHH'.
Brian's Impact: The Legacy Continues
To speak frankly, Brian has done more than what can be articulated in words. For myself and many others, he acted as an anchor. It's an overwhelming honor to have considered him my best friend.
Brian served as the Business Development Director at ID-Tech Solutions and was known for strengthening the Master Service provider division. He was also a proud founder and Managing Partner at Phillip Martin Talent Advisors. Brian wore many hats proudly and embraced the challenges and victories that came with each.
Brian made an impact as a city council candidate, too. Even with his sudden interest in politics, he impressed many with his frank demeanor and dedication.
Brian’s Departure and Unfinished Business
Brian, being the natural born leader, always had future plans, and he often discussed them with his usual jovial chuckle. Though he left us physically, the spirit of his dreams and ideas will forever echo in our lives. Foxman, as we affectionately called him, was indeed a larger-than-life teddy bear who managed to capture our hearts within a short span.
As we reel in pain and remember Brian's enduring spirit, the one thing that will haunt us is - what could have been of his beautiful future plans had he been around a bit longer.
Brian Fox, my friend, you will be missed. Rest in peace, until we circle back, Foxman, Godspeed.
